smalldrinks

Instead of beginning our holiday on the Continent, we're enjoying some time just north of London at 'Smalldrinks,' the home of our friends the Lawns. They have two children and a beautiful old home with a large garden and a play room that is toy heaven.


We've had real summer weather, and Tim experienced his first turn on a slide as well as splashing around with the hose on Edie's slippy slidey.


He had a nice bath in their roomy kitchen sink.


Edie, Dom, and Tim watched Beauty and the Beast. Really, Edie watched it; Tim and Dom occasionally starred at the screen.


I gave Tim his first haircut because it was falling in his eyes and strands were hanging over his ears. Unfortunately, with the bald ring from where he sleeps, he now looks like a Roundhead.
