solids

We introduced solids (rice cereal) while my parents were here. For the first week, Tim was't overly interested. He didn't reject it, but he wasn't exactly eager either.

This was a successful feed by Grandy.

After a week of Tim's half interest in rice cereal, we introduced mushed banana mixed with cereal. That was a hit. He even started to open his mouth between bites. Some days he remembers how to eat from a spoon and most of it goes down, and some days he seems to have forgotten and most of it goes on the bib.

He's just finished about 1/4 cup of banana and cereal. If you look closely, his bib is clean. He ate every last bit of it.

We went out for sushi yesterday. When the waitress brought a high chair, my first reaction was to tell her no because I still think of him as an infant. He sat in happily, once we adjusted it so that he couldn't hit his head on the table.




He even read the menu.
