santa fe

Tim seemed to enjoy the trip to Santa Fe. He took longs naps in the airplane on the way down and back. At the airports, he was nearly spinning circles trying to point at all the things to see like other airplanes and helicopters and big fuel trucks. He also spent some time looking out the window at the things on the ground when we were low enough and at the clouds as we flew past and through them.

We spent some time in the city center. Tim's old enough and mobile enough that we can let him out of his stroller to run around. His favorite thing to do right now is find puddles and stomp through them.

We spent one morning at Kashe Katuwe, a small canyon about forty miles from Santa Fe. It's also called Tent Rocks National Monument. There's more about it on my blog. Tim wanted to pick up every rock we encountered, so we put in his carrier for the start of the walk. Once the path narrowed, we let him down. He did a lot of walking.

We took a drive south of Santa Fe on the Turquoise Trail to the village of Cerrillos where Tim road the fence.
